Myofascial Release Treatment

Learn to Move Your Body the Right Way

People vastly underestimate the impact that the Fascia has on pain management. The connective tissue (fascia) is an internal webbing that organises our muscles in movement.

After treatment the fascia is reorganised for better function and balance in the whole body.

At Reformance we offer a variety of treatment sessions to address muscle pain & injury.

Who should visit us?

Myofascial Release (also known as Structural Integration or Rolfing) can be used to treat:

  • back pain
  • joint problems
  • muscular aches
  • sprains
  • poor posture

Myofascial treatment is a technique that focuses on releasing tension and relieving pain in the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds muscles.

By releasing tension in the fascia and muscles, myofascial treatment can significantly reduce pain caused by conditions like muscle strains, chronic pain syndromes, and overuse injuries.

The session can be done in a 30 minute appointment which involves light touch with subtle movement changes. You gets results in 2 to 6 sessions.

For more complex cases, we may suggest deeper tissue work in 1 hour sessions with a proven format of 12 sessions.

  02 Trigger Points

Myofascial treatment often targets trigger points, which are tight knots of muscle fibers that can cause pain and restricted movement.

A Myofascial Release session involves applying sustained pressure to these trigger points. This pressure helps to relax the tight muscle fibers, release tension in the fascia, and alleviate pain.

 03 Injury Prevention

Regular Myofascial treatment can help prevent injuries by addressing muscle imbalances and tightness before they lead to more significant issues.

The release of tight fascia and muscles can lead to improved flexibility and range of motion. And it also promotes relaxation and stress reduction
